Youth Programs

Youth Exchange
Every year Morning Star Rotary sends one junior or senior high school student overseas on a one year youth exchange program and we receive one exchange student in return. The visiting youth spends their year with three host families while attending one of the local high schools. While here they participate in many Rotary events both on a local and national level. The youth exchange program is a wonderful opportunity for young adults to travel, learn new languages and cultures and promote ideas of peace and understanding

Youth Leadership Programs
Every summer the Morning Star Rotary sends 4 or 5 juniors high school students to Camp Niedig. This is a 4 day leadership training program to help them prepare for more active roles in their schools for the coming academic year and throughout their lives
