Dear Fellow Rotarians,
It is with a great sense of purpose that we begin this new Rotary
year!! I am honored and privileged to accept the reins of District
Governor during 2008-2009. Under the banner of Rotary International
we have the incredible opportunity to "Make Dreams Real" for those
who are so much less fortunate. Through Rotary we are determined to
eradicate Polio, provide Clean Drinking Water for millions, fund
Micro-Credits for women, send Shelterboxes to tens of thousands of
disaster survivors, deliver Wheelchairs and Artificial Lims to
people in developing countries, Educate the Illiterate, continue our
work through Rotaplast and so much more. We are truly "Humanity in
Motion"!
We
are all honored to belong to the world's largest service
organization. With your help we will work together to maximize the
opportunities to serve during the coming Rotary year as we "Make
Dreams Real".
